Margaret Teele (born Margaret J. Poby, 5 November 1942 in Joliet, Illinois) is an American television and motion picture actress who appeared in "Gomer Pyle", "The Andy Griffith Show", "Batman", "The Rounders" and "Captain Nice" and other television shows as well as films such as "The Silencers", "Way Way Out", "Hook, Line & Sinker", "The Unkissed Bride" (also known as "Mother Goose a Go-Go"), "The Human Duplicators" and "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum".
Margaret Teele grew up in Green Bay, Wisconsin and got her start acting in local high school productions. In one of the productions, "The King and I", Teele played Tony Shalhoub's mother. Teele resigned from acting to raise a family. She is the mother of singer Jenna Drey.
